Officials: Speed a factor in accident that killed two; FEMA denying aid to some tornado victims; Retaliation feared after U.S. soldier kills Afghans

Good morning! It's Monday, March 12. This is Christine Nelson writing you from my desk in the newsroom. Here's a look at what we're covering on WBTV News This Morning at 4:30 a.m.

Two men have been killed in a violent accident in Caldwell County. Officials this morning say speed was definitely a factor. We have more details on what happened after the car lost control.

Also, some of the tornado victims across the country are not waking up happy this morning. FEMA is denying aid to some of the families affected. We'll tell you why.

Plus, there will be some major damage control coming from the Obama administration today. The actions of a U.S. soldier who went on a shooting rampage is being called unforgivable.

We'll see you on the air!

Christine
