CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) - Any family that has dealt with dementia and Alzheimer's disease patient care knows how difficult that can be.
Dr. Hemanth Rao, Medical Director of the Neurological Institute, visited WBTV News Saturday Morning to talk about the signs and symptoms of the disease.
He also talked about ways to prolong it's onset.
The Memory Institute at the Neurological Institute is also sponsoring a free, confidential memory screening. It takes place Monday, March 5, 9 a.m.-12 noon by appointment only at The Memory Institute, 2607 East 7th Street (Assemble Towers) in Charlotte.
