New At Noon: High winds add to danger of severe weather

CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) - High winds are blowing across the area, strong enough to knock down trees and power lines.

The National Weather Service in Greenville-Spartanburg has issued a high wind advisory until midnight Friday.

Winds are blowing 15-25 miles per hour and gusting up to 45 mph.
