GASTONIA, NC (WBTV) - The Highland Tech Rams are currently 18-6, one win shy of tying the school record for victories.
They won the program's 1st ever regular season conference championship and will play Mitchell Wednesday in the 2nd round of the 1A State Playoffs.
Coach Butch Blaylock's squad has gotten it done with a true team aspect starting with their leader, Javon Patton, who leads the team in scoring, assists, and steals.
It's that camaraderie as a team that has this unit dreaming big. We're talking State Championship big, but they still take it one game at a time.
