Johnson C. Smith University is a hot-bed for some of the best track talent in the World. Many Athletes go on to compete at the National and International levels. Graduate, Ledford Green, was a 2011 World Championships semi-finalist in the 400m hurdles. Shermaine Williams, also a graduate, was a 2011 World University Games 100m hurdles semi-finalist.
A big reason for this type of success, coach Lennox Graham has 14 years of experience at the junior and senior level in Jamaica.
His latest stars say, the Track and Field team was a huge draw for them, but and education at Johnson C. Smith was also at the top their list.
