CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) - Folks headed into the parking lot at one of Charlotte's busiest office buildings are finding the entrance is now much friendlier.
It's smooth sailing into the parking lot at the Walton Plaza in uptown Charlotte.
But it wasn't that way two weeks ago.
That's when I showed you the cracked, busted paving that folks had to drive across when going into the parking lot off McDowell Street. It was also part of the sidewalk that people had to walk across.
When I contacted the Charlotte Department of Transportation about the entranceway, I was told engineers would take a look.
And sure enough they did. Right away.
Crews were soon out and they've taken care of the problem.
Within a week and a half of my contacting the Charlotte DOT, the sidewalk/entrance way paving was See, Click, FIXED.
Give the DOT credit...another instance of fast action by the city following a See, Click, Fix question.
