TROUTMAN, NC (WBTV) - Police in Troutman say they arrested a man who was caught on camera exposing himself to a woman while at a gas station.
Phillip Beverley has been charged with indecent exposure, and is being held at the Iredell County jail.
Police got a tip about the suspect after surveillance photos were released from the Mystic Gas Station around 9:20 p.m. last Friday.
"He was acting strange enough to draw attention from the clerk, police say.
According to the police report, when the suspect approached the counter to purchase an item, "he had his pants pulled down in the front with his shirt over top of them."
As he was paying for his drink, he pulled up his shirt and revealed his genitals to the female employee. As the woman took his money, he "again pulled his shirt up revealing his genitals to the cashier while rubbing himself," police told WBTV.
According to police, the suspect got into a while late 90's model Honda Accord, driving along Highway 21.
