LANCASTER, SC (WBTV) - Lancaster police are looking for a man who robbed and kidnapped a driver on North Main Street Monday.
Investigators say the person was attacked getting into his car. The suspected used the ploy of asking to borrow a cellphone, then flashed a handgun at the victim.
The victim told police he was driving to a nearby ATM machine and was forced to withdraw cash. The suspect then made the victim drop him off at another convenience store on Main Street.
Police ask anyone with information to contact the Lancaster Police Department at 803-283-1174 or The Anonymous Tip Hotline at 803-289-6040.
