Fight reported at Garinger High School Friday morning

CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) - Several students were involved in what school officials are calling a "scuffle" at Garinger High School Friday morning.

The incident – described as a fight by police  – happened around 7:15 am, just as school was scheduled to start, CMS officials said.

School officials say that there were no major injuries, but that they don't really know if anyone was taken to the hospital.

Four students were involved in the incident and the case is currently under investigation, CMS said.

The students will be disciplined under the "Rights and Responsibilities" handbook, school officials said.
