Passed-out teen girl was raped by woman at New Year’s party, police say

ROCK HILL, SC (WBTV) - A 19-year-old Rock Hill woman is facing rape charges after police say she took advantage of a female teenage friend who passed out during a New Year's Eve party.

According to a Rock Hill police report, officers charged Sheretha Antoinetta Williams, 19, with third degree criminal sexual conduct - forcible rape. Officers say Williams was found engaged in a sex act with a 17-year-old girl who was drunk and passed out.

Officers say the teens were at a New Year's Eve house party along Rhea Street on December 31, along with several other teens, and were drinking underage.

The 17-year-old female victim told officers that she drank so much alcohol, that she can't remember what happened that night, but was told by her friends the next day.

According to the report, the 17-year-old said Williams began kissing her around 11:30 p.m. and friends kept pulling her away because they knew the victim was drunk. A short time later, one of the friends found Williams and the teen in a room together, with Williams engaged in a sex act on the teen, the report states.

The group of women then pulled Williams off the teen and called the victim's brother to come take her home, police say.  According to the report, the teen girl had stuff around her mouth and face "due to her vomiting from drinking" and her friends felt Williams was taking advantage of the teen.

Two other people at the party may have been recording the sex act on their cell phones, the report states.

The next morning, the teen victim was taken to the Piedmont Medical Center for a rape kit.

After an investigation, Williams was arrested on Tuesday and charged with rape. She was released on a $5,000 bond.
