CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV (WBTV) - Wake Forest University opens up a new campus to help serve working adults get that much needed education Thursday morning.
It's good news for academia, as well as another jewel in the crown of Charlotte.
The ribbon will finally be cut on the new Wake Forest University satellite school located at 200 College Street in Center City.
The University has actually been in town since 1995, but the program was small. It was located in the SouthPark area, and only had around 35 students.
The new building will help further the education of more than 6000 Wake Forest alumni, as well as offer night and weekend programs for working adults. They will be offering classes for students to get their MBA degrees.
The official ceremony for the opening of the school will be at 11:00.
