LENOIR, NC (WBTV) - The class may be full of women who happen to be senior citizens, but you should take care not to call anyone in Kim Picton's Hoola Hoop class an old lady.
"Don't ever come in here and call us a bunch of old gray haired ladies ever," said Fran Fox, one of the group's members.
Fitness Instructor Kim Picton created a hoola hoop class a few years ago to add a little spice to the workout routine. The class went so well, the women decided to call themselves the Lenoir Hoola Hoopin' Hotties.
They entered themselves into the Unifour Senior Games last year and won a gold medal to a hoola hooped routine.
