MOORESVILLE, NC (WBTV) - It's the not same as the one in Charlotte although the North CArolina Auto Racing Hall of Fame often gets confused with the NASCAR Hall of Fame in Downtown Charlotte.
The building in Mooresville is much smaller but holds hundreds of valuable and interesting parts of auto racing history.
Dozens of cars line the hall floor. From the old 'shiner wagons to the super stock cars currently used in NASCAR competition.
The Hall features thousands of pieces of racing history like fire suits from many famous drivers. Awards, photos and stories line the walls. The one in Mooresville may not be as big as the one in Charlotte, but it's very much worth visiting, especially for any big racing fans.
