How far would you go to raise funds?

Some local business women are raising a lot of eyebrows with their latest fundraising method - they sent a big message while leaving little to the imagination.

The ladies are determined to help women in Southern Arizona succeed, so they weren't afraid to bare all in a provocative calendar to raise money for the American Business Women's Association.

Restaurant owner Amy Hansen says she thought it was a great idea when she heard about it, and jumped onboard the project.

Eleven ladies, in their 40s to 60s, shed their clothes for the calendar.

Hansen had a blast standing next to the jukebox in her diner and Marianne Cobarrubias, an independent consultant, said she wasn't nervous at all posing in the buff.

Cobarrubias said, "we knew we would produce a respectable, tasteful project that we would be proud of."

There were some unexpected moments during the photo shoot, like the one at the golf course.

Realtor Joette Schenck says, "The sprinklers came off while we were taking pictures. It was bizarre but funny at the same time."

The idea for the calendar came from Schenck.  She said they wanted to try something different from the usual fundraising methods like garage sales.

Their hope is to raise $1,000 to provide scholarships and grants for women.

Schenck says they've received positive feedbacks from the public.

She says, "it's been a big laugh maker.  People are hysterical which I'm not sure if that's good or bad."

Another model, Carol Meyer says everyone that sees it loves it and it's gone all across the country.
