CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) – Carolina Panthers runningback DeAngelo Williams stopped by WBTV News on Thursday and challenged Anchor Molly Grantham to a game of cornhole.
He even brought boards and Anchor Jamie Boll gave the play-by-play.
Or did Molly challenge him? We're still trying to figure this one out here at the station.
It was all in an effort to promote his cornhole tournament coming up Saturday, October 29 called "Throwin' for a Cure."
The proceeds will benefit breast cancer awareness. DeAngelo's mom is a survivor.
DeAngelo set the entire tournament up through the DeAngelo Williams Foundation.
