EpiCentre to get court-appointed management trustee

Posted: Updated:

CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) - The EpiCentre in uptown Charlotte will experience a management change soon, now that a U.S. Bankruptcy Court judge appointed a trustee to oversee the complex, the Charlotte Business Journal said.

Judge George Hodges ordered the appointment of a Chapter 11 trustee on Thursday with limited powers to oversee Pacific Avenue I and II, who own and operate the EpiCenter complex, the Business Journal said.

According to the Business Journal, Rudisill, current manager of The Finley Group, will oversee management operations for the EpiCentre.

The new trustee was appointed following allegations by Blue Air, the company that holds the debt for EpiCentre, who claims funds were moved and financial records were changed for other companies connected to developer Afshin Ghazi, who manages Pacific Avenue.

Rudisill will not be involved in the investigation of Blue Air's allegations, the Business Journal said, but could take on that task if Hodges expands her duties. Copyright 2011 WBTV. All rights reserved.
