CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) – A person in north Charlotte has been arrested after being found with pills missing from the pharmacy where they were employed.
Management at the Qualitest Pharmaceuticals on Woodpark Boulevard told police that hydrocodone had begun disappearing and, after investigating, an employee was confronted.
According to police, when management attempted to address the issue with the employee on September 16, they ran. The manager then found 766 tablets of hydrocodone in the room where the employee had fled to.
The Charlotte Mecklenburg Police Department was called after video surveillance placed the suspect in the area where the tablets were found. The employee was then arrested and charged with larceny by employee.
Police report that all stolen pills were recovered.
