ROCK HILL, SC (WBTV) - The overgrown lot sticks out like a sore thumb on Celanese Road in Rock Hill.
It's easy to see why we received a complaint about this spot. The grass and weeds are about 5 feet or higher. The person who wrote in to us says there are rats coming from the lot and the overgrowth is obstructing the view when trying to pull out.
York County's code enforcement said they would take a look at it after we brought it to their attention last week.
They have since called us back to let us know the property is in violation of the high grass ordinance.
A letter has been sent to the property owner to fix it up.
