UNION COUNTY, NC (WBTV) - Deputies have arrested an Indian Trial teen who is accused of raping a teen girl, and attempting to rape another.

Robert Viehmeyer III, 18, was arrested Sunday, July 17, at his home at 1208 Langdon Terrace Drive after a teen reported she was raped by him. The sheriff's office says another teen girl reported that Viehmeyer attempted to rape her.

One of the alleged incidents happened in November 2010, and the other incident occurred in February 2011.

Both victims are under the age of 18 and knew Viehmeyer. The sheriff's office said this was not a case of 'stranger rape.'

In both cases, the sheriff's office say the teen girls were restricted and not allowed to leave. Some of the incidents occurred in or around the suspect's home.

According to the arrest report, Viehmeyer, has been charged with Kidnapping (2 counts), second-degree Rape, second-degree Attempted Rape, Sexual Battery (2 counts), and second-degree Sex Offense (2 counts).

He is being held at the Union County jail on a $75,000 secured bond.

Viehmeyer is scheduled to appear in Union County District Court on August 23rd.

The sheriff's office said there could be even more victims.
