The Alabama Emergency Management Agency is updating the progress report on Tallapoosa and Marengo County clean up efforts following the April 27 tornadoes.
The U.S. Army Corp of Engineers is working hard to clean up Lake Martin.
There were approximately 15,000 cubic yards of debris in Lake Martin after the tornadoes swept through and so far an estimated 80 percent of that debris has been removed from the lake.
Workers wanted to complete the removal process by July 4, but they weren't quite done. They hope to complete the project as soon as possible.
The Alabama EMA is reporting 100 percent debris removal figures for Marengo and Tallapoosa counties.
