CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) - Montrez Williams was only 17-years-old when he shot and killed two brothers in west Charlotte. They had been feuding since they were young boys.
Josh Davis and Terry Long never got to see their 20's. Williams will spend the rest of his life in prison.
Andrea Long, the boys' mother, has been very vocal since the killings. She wept quietly in court as the verdict came down.
"I tell you, this is justice! This is justice," she said. Long and her family headed to Oaklawn cemetery after court to visit the graves.
Montrez Williams did not show any emotion in court as the guilty verdict came down; however, his mother also quietly cried.
Outside the courthouse Sarah Waldo said,"I know that God is still in control...He's going to work something out for my son."
Prosecutors said Williams shot the unarmed brothers in the back. He left the safety of his apartment to go find them at the complex. His defense attorney said it was to settle the dispute. Prosecutors said it was to escalate the situation.
