The Board of Economic Advisors and its chief economist, Frank Rainwater, say the state's economic outlook is positive for the months ahead.

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (AP) - This Easter weekend is looking to be a strong one for tourism along the Grand Strand, the heart of South Carolina's $18 billion tourism industry. Officials say hotel and motel occupancy is running about 93 percent based on a sampling of lodging in the main coastal counties.
