CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) - Many people walk by and don't even notice the at least 15 pound Tom turkey teetering on the edge of the sidewalk. Many of the locals don't look because they see the turkey most every day in his same spot hanging around the bus stop.
"He's just a wild turkey but he's out here everyday," said one neighbor.
Tom hangs around the bus stop and it's quite a sight to see him go chasing after city buses as they pass. We thought it was just an odd quirk of the oddly placed bird, but one neighbor told us there's a reason he wants to catch the bus.
