The cleanup in Phil Campbell hit a snag as heavy downpours stopped all outdoor efforts by volunteers in Phil Campbell today. Nick Lough was at the volunteer center today where people took on tasks indoors. Donations got sorted and storm victims were able to stock up on supplies. A hotel manager is in the hospital with life-threatening injuries tonight after a shooting this morning. Police responded to the InTown Suites in Huntsville where they say Calvin Leatherwood shot the employee in the hotel office and took off. Officers took Leatherwood into custody about 30 minutes after the shooting at Oakwood University. Trang Do will have an update on the victim's condition tonight.
