You've no doubt heard of the outpouring of support from volunteers and donors from all over Alabama. One group of people who are spearheading the effort are doing their work under the "Toomer's for Tuscaloosa" banner. On Facebook the group has exploded to more than 80,000 active followers.
It originally started as a way to help pay Tuscaloosa back for the "Tide for Toomer's" organization that rallied to Auburn's aid after AU's famed Toomer's oak trees were poisoned.
