Thousands of volunteers have helped Franklin and Marion Counties recover from the EF-5 tornado that tore across the area.
Officials say a lot of the tornado victims didn't have time to grab any form of identification when the storm hit, so three women at the Franklin County Courthouse are helping those victims pay for new ones.
"They've all lost all they have but some of them have even lost family members," said Rhonda Boyles.
The women say paying the $20.50 per ID adds up quickly, but it's their way of giving back to people who need it more.
"They don't come in wanting any freebies, they don't ask, they expect to pay," said Dianne Miller. "It just makes us feel badly that we can't help them all."
