Decatur and Huntsville Animal Services collect pet supplies for tornado victims

DECATUR, AL (WAFF) -

Huntsville Animal Services and Decatur Animal Services are collecting dry dog, puppy, cat and kitten foods (Purina and Pedigree preferred) for shelters and rescue groups housing tornado pets, as well as tornado victims.

East of I-65, items may be left and inquiries for assistance may be made at Huntsville Animal Services, 4950 Triana Blvd, Huntsville, AL 35805, 256-883-3783, M-F 9am – 4 pm.

West of I-65, at Decatur Animal Services, 300 A Beltline Rd SW, Decatur, AL 35601, 256-341-4790, M – F 10 am to 5 pm, Sat 10 am to 2 pm.

Decatur Animal Services will collect other animal supplies that will help tornado families and pets, such as kitty litter, litter pans and scoops, treats, toys, crates, collars and leashes.
