Tornado Relief Effort in Columbus

COLUMBUS, GA (WXTX) - Several local residents and businesses have teamed up to support tornado relief in Georgia and Alabama.  Volunteers will be collecting donations Monday, May 2nd at Liberty Baptist Church from 10:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m.

Donations can also be dropped off at any Action Buildings and Truck Styles location during regular business hours Monday, as well as Davis Broadcasting on Wynnton Road.

Here is a list of some of the items needed:

Non-perishable food

Cat and dog food

Baby food

Re-usable grocery bags

Formula (all types)

Diapers, Wipes, Rash Ointment

Hand Sanitizer

Deodorant

Toothbrushes/Toothpaste

Feminine hygiene products

Surgical masks

First aid supplies

Work gloves

Flashlights

Batteries (9 Volt, AA, C)

Trash Bags

Watches

Children's toys
