CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) - Crews will begin removing trees today along Park Road, starting with the 2800 block, near Sunset Drive.
As a result, the southbound lanes of Park Road will close between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. Southbound traffic will be rerouted to the northbound side, leaving only one lane open in each direction.
A spokesman for the Charlotte Department of Transportation told WBTV this morning that the work will continue up the street for the next several weeks.
Motorists in the area should expect delays and use an alternate route.
