CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) - The high temperature in Charlotte reached 78 degrees on Friday, tying a record set 120 years ago.
The sunshine was huge for local restaurants and outdoor establishments.
"We'll be packed out here for lunch and later tonight," said David Smith, owner of The Burger Company in West Charlotte which has an outdoor dining area.
We also found a West Charlotte Dairy Queen with lots of patrons wanting ice cream. Car washes also looking busy with warmer weather.
The temperatures won't be consistent until Spring gets here but many business owners are already seeing dollar signs with each degree of warmth.
