CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) - The North Carolina Department of Transportation has closed the southbound connector from North Tryon Street to southbound Interstate 85. Crews will be working through October on this intersection as part of the 29/49 Roadway Improvement project. Motorists in the area will need to use City Boulevard or Sugar Creek Road as an alternate route.
