I-485 To Get Additional Lane

CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) - There are plans to add another lane of traffic on I-485 in Charlotte.

Saturday, State Senator Bob Rucho told WBTV a widening project has been bumped up more than a year.

That project would affect traffic from the Rea Road to I-77 exits. It would start in the fall of 2012 and be finished in less than two years.
