Cover Story: Perdue most vulnerable governor?

CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) - North Carolina Governor Bev Perdue is apparently skating on thin ice with her constituents.

Frequently one of the most unpopular governors in America, a top political pundit says she's the leader most likely to lose in 2012.

A top political blogger at the Washington Post says Bev Perdue is vulnerable.

Out of all the contested governors' races in the next election, this pundit calls Perdue's seat:  "The most likely to switch parties (to the Republicans) in 2012."

Just how bad is it for Governor Perdue?  Some political experts say if it gets bad enough - if her numbers don't improve - there could be a mutiny among Democratic bigwigs to get her not to run again and find another Democrat to run.
