CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) - Construction along Clanton Road continues this week in order to install sidewalks, curbs and gutters.
The Charlotte Department of Transportation has closed the right, northbound lane of Clanton Road between I-77 and South Tryon Street. Originally all lanes were scheduled to open on Thursday, March 17th, but now crews say it will be March 31 before all lanes reopen.
Motorists should consider using Remount Road as an alternate route until the project is completed.
