LINCOLNTON, NC (WBTV) - The snow started falling and C.J. Powell started getting the itch. Not the one you'd expect a 6-year-old to have where they just can't wait to get outside on a sled. Nope, C.J. couldn't wait to get outside and do a weather report.
The 1st grader at Lincoln Charter School was bitten by the weather bug when he was just 3. He asks his mother to video tape him while doing "live" reports for an imaginary audience.
He's actually got a knack for it too. He accurately describes road conditions, temperature and snowfall amounts. He's also the most precious weather man I've ever seen.
C.J. says he wants to be a part-time weather reporter when he grows up. He also hopes to fit in time to be a part-time NASCAR driver. High hopes for such a young man, but check out his report and see, he's got some serious potential!
