Charlotte, NC (WBTV) - See, Click, Fix is staying on top of this story to see what the hold up is!
A jogger named Carl wrote us online about a damaged telephone pole saying, "I jog by this pole everyday I believe that if we get a really strong wind it is going to topple over. This pole has a transformer on it as well. I am very concerned that this could fall at any point and possibly cause an injury."
The damaged pole is at W. Sugar Creek Road and N. Graham Street. You can see the damage near the bottom of the pole. From what we understand a car slammed into it.
We got in touch with AT&T who told us the pole would be fixed by the Monday after Thanksgiving. But that didn't happen.
So what's the hold up?
AT&T sent a direct email to reporter Christine Nelson saying: "...it looks like there was an issue with the work order. A team will be on site this Friday to fix the pole. We apologize for any inconvenience this may be causing local residents and are working quickly to resolve the issue."
So this Friday, December 10, we'll be back out there to make sure this problem you asked to get fixed is resolved.
