CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) – See, Click, Fix is taking a look at a messy situation. A viewer sent us pictures of an area just off the Plaza, between Cochrane Middle School and several businesses. An apartment complex is also nearby. The pictures show quite a mess. A lot of trash is strewn across the area including many beer bottles and cans as well as other items too numerous to mention.
Viewers are concerned, not only because it's such an eyesore...but because of the risks some of this trash might pose to school kids and others who use this area as a cut through. The question now: who is responsible for cleaning up the mess?
That's what we're working on now. This appears to be a matter best addressed by the City of Charlotte Code Enforcement department. One viewer tells us she's talked with school officials and they're working together to try to resolve this. We'll keep you posted on the outcome.
