ROCK HILL, SC (WBTV) - There are unusually placed scraps of crochet wrapped around trees, on light poles, and even adorning fire hydrants.
Passers-by in Downtown Rock Hill note the odd decorations and wonder what they are.
At Gallery Up the idea was to do something different. Employees say they solicited the idea on Facebook and Twitter and got hundreds of pieces of crocheted material mailed in from all over the world.
The project is a graffiti of sorts, with a crochet twist. It's designed not with some deep meaning in mind. It's only a little something different to look at.
