CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) - Holiday toy shopping can be a parents worst nightmare.
"Sometimes the toys are expensive and then they become hard to find if they're really popular," said one mom.
"You don't want to go searching for them and then buy something where the thrill only lasts 15 minutes," another told us.
Toys R Us loaned WBTV several of the toys they expect will sell fast in 2010, and we picked up a few on our own. They included Legos, Cuponk, Paper Jamz, Monster High Dolls, the CSI Junior Investigator Kit, the Girl Gourmet Cupcake Maker, and more.
Then we split the group of kids in two. There was a group of 5-7 year olds, and then 8-11 year olds with toys that were a little more sophisticated. We let them spend at least an hour just playing with everything.
To see what our toy testers liked and didn't like, you can watch the results right here on this page.
