Have you gone to a home Panthers game this year?
Or if you've watched one from home...have you noticed the stands?
With an overall losing record – especially with that oh-and-five start – you'd think there wouldn't be many people.
You'd think every other seat would be empty.
But, no.
So....here's to Panthers fans.
Not the ones who like to jump back on a bandwagon when a win is eeked out.
This shout-out is to the people who show up even when we're terrible.
Even when it looks like our losing streak can't be broken.
A bright spot emerged when Matt Moore returned as the starter and helped take us to a last-minute win over the 49ers.
But now he's injured and out for the season.
Since then, we lost to the Rams.
Got blown out by the Saints.
And played better, but still lost to Tampa Bay in our most recent game.
So now our record is one and eight..
Still pretty dismal.
But we do salute those of you sticking with it.
Mr. Richardson gutted the team…Coach Fox is all but a goner...and many fans are frustrated
But you know what?
They're still our Panthers.
And the die-hard fans there for every season – including tough ones like this one – deserve pats on their ever-strong backs.
Look on the bright side. Next year, we may have the Number One draft pick. Maybe we'll get
"Lucky."
