CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) - At last, it's the final piece of the puzzle. Charlotte now has everything you've ever wanted, and then some.
Whole Foods is finally coming to the Queen City.
It's the store that Charlotte grocery store elitists have longed for. The trendiest, hippiest, swankiest of all the supermarkets.
Whole Foods. Some call it "whole paycheck."
It's a status symbol. Like Pink Berry, Nieman Marcus, and Ruth's Chris. All the coolest cities have them.
Does one more grocery store really mean Charlotte has finally arrived?
Well, to give you an idea of how high-fluting these people are they used the word "succulent" to describe their produce.
And now when visitors come to town, no longer will they be saying when describing Charlotte: "What? No Whole Foods?"
