CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) - Josh Stevens passed through Charlotte Wednesday. He has been chosen by a website called Groupon to live off of local Groupon deals (and only Groupon deals) for an entire year; if he succeeds he will win $100,000.

In order to partake in this challenge, Josh had to give up his apartment, car, job, even clothes and trade it in for a life on the road.

According to Groupon's website, "Groupon negotiates huge discounts on popular local goods, services and cultural events.

Then we offer the deals to thousands of subscribers in a free daily email. The deals are activated only when a minimum number of people agree to buy."
