Pumpkin Dip

Pumpkin Dip

Yields: 16 Servings


4 ounces                       Cream Cheese, softened

1 cup                            Confectioners' Sugar

½ Each                         15 ounce can, solid packed pumpkin

½ teaspoon                  ground cinnamon

¼ teaspoon                  ground ginger

1/8 teaspoon                ground cloves

1/8 teaspoon                ground nutmeg

½ teaspoon                  frozen orange juice concentrate

2 Each                          Pears, washed, cored, sliced

2 Each                          Red Delicious Apples, washed, cored, sliced

Method of Preparation:

  1. Wash hands and put on gloves before preparing ready to eat foods.
  2. Gather all ingredients and equipment.
  3. In a medium bowl blend cream cheese and confectioner's sugar until smooth.
  4. Gradually mix in the pumpkin.
  5. Stir in spices and orange juice until smooth and well blended.
  6. Chill until ready to serve.
  7. Serve with sliced pears and apples.
  8. Serve in a pumpkin for a festive centerpiece!
