CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) - We lost a music icon this week.  Legendary singer General Johnson died this week.

Johnson was the lead singer of the popular beach music trio Chairmen of the Board.  But despite the passing of this legend - this Carolina favorite - the 45s keep on spinning.
