Cover Story: EPA Coal Ash Hearing

CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) - Federal environmental officials are thinking about regulating the waste left over after electric utilities burn coal, and they want to know what North Carolina residents think.

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency was in Charlotte Tuesday for one of seven public hearings on its proposal to regulate coal ash for the first time.
