CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) - Leaders at Charlotte Douglas International Airport want to put a new plan for taxis in action, but angry protests over the changes have put them on hold.
This afternoon, The Community Safety Committee will meet to discuss the matter.
The proposal calls for rules that would help make sure passengers get a good, clean cab.
But drivers say the changes would put them out of work.
WBTV's Melissa Hankins will have the details at 6pm.
