Cover Story: City bonds on November ballot

CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) - The Charlotte City Council deciding whether to ask voters to approve more than $200 million in city bonds this November.  The bonds would go for roads, neighborhood improvements and affordable housing.

And because Mecklenburg county isn't asking for any more bond money right now because of the economy Charlotte city leaders are having to defend borrowing.
