Senior bowlers don't use balls

By Kristen Hampton - bio l email

ROCK HILL, SC (WBTV) - If you listen down most any of the halls at Park Pointe Village, you can hear the hollering.

The sometimes rowdy crowd gathers in the movie viewing room to play the video game bowling on the Wii.

While the games are a lot of fun, the team is playing for a national title. Senior groups from all over the country are competing against one another in the virtual sport.

The competition is fierce but the friendships formed are even more fierce. The group loves to poke at each other over their scores. But they always applaud over victories are wish well on the defeats.

Makes it more about the smiles and less about the bowling.
