Hartsville, SC -

HARTSVILLE, SC (WMBF) - One of three alleged suspects at the center of a fatal shooting investigation in Hartsville has been released from police custody Thursday, according to family members.

Darenzo Trevon Graham, of Hartsville, was released Thursday morning from the Darlington County Detention Center on a $100,000 bond. Graham was one of three alleged suspects arrested in the 2009 shooting death of Forrest Lenn Royall Jr., 25, of Hartsville.

According to the Hartsville Police Department, officers were dispatched to the Landmark Inn Motel on the 1300 block of South Fourth Street after receiving reports of a shooting on May 31, 2009.

Investigators say people were playing basketball behind the motel in the parking lot when an argument broke out and shots were fired.  Upon arrival of police, two victims were found lying on the pavement of the parking lot.

Officials with the Hartsville Police Department identified the victim as Royall, who died from his injuries at the Carolina Pines Hospital.

Over the course of a thorough investigation, evidence led police to arrest Raynard Jenkins and Gregory Benjamin for their alleged roles in the crime. Jenkins was released from custody on May 18 on a $33,722 bond, while Benjamin remains in custody on a $50,000 bond.
