CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) - The home we are talking about is on 3901 Weddington Road in Charlotte. The state it's in speaks for itself. Click here to see the original story.
Code enforcement has issued a nuisance violation for the three foot tall grass. So the property owners now have seven days to cut it and clean up the outside of the property. If that doesn't happen the city hires a contractor to do it and bills the owners of the property.
A notice has been issued to get all the graffiti cleaned up.
Code enforcement is also getting a hold of the homeowners right now so they can access and inspect the inside of this property. Inspectors want to see if there are any violations inside as well.
Code enforcement says it will work with the homeowners as long as they are showing an effort to fix all the violations.
We have been trying to get a hold of the homeowners ourselves to find out what the story is behind this home but have been unsuccessful so far.
